The last of the tadpoles have their front legs now, and we have successfully released most of the others back to the pond they came from. Sadly one died this week, but we understand that sometimes that just happens. Today we have been busy demonstrating our understanding of the Frog's life cycle by making plasticine models and paper posters.

This time, we described the Junior Playground. We had to use our senses to describe what it looked like and felt like, but we also had to use verbs to describe what we can do on the Playground.
We are learning to write descriptions. |
Here are some of our descriptions:
The baby gorilla is fuzzy and cute. It is warm and it is funny. It looks sad, it looks like its mum. By Evamae | The baby gorilla looks weird, it looks like it is thirsty. The baby gorilla looks lonely and it looks fuzzy. Its eyes are scary and snuggly. When you look at it it looks ugly. By Natara. |
The crocodile is spiky and its hungry and cool and it has sharp teeth and it is in a zoo. By Jay | The crocodile looks ferocious. It has sharp teeth and it eyes are gleamy. They are creepy too. The crocodile has prickles on its back. By Azariyah |
